About the Role

We are seeking a permanent Food & Beverage Assistant to be an integral part of our F&B Operations Team. This role is vital for ensuring we are fully prepared for all events by processing deliveries, rotating, ordering, replenishing stock around retail and hospitality areas, and supporting the team in adhering to health and safety/food safety procedures. We are looking for an ambitious individual eager to grow their career with us on a casual basis.

Additional Information:

  • Work includes weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
  • Physical work involving lifting and moving heavy items; manual handling training can be provided.
  • Support may be needed at other ASM venues, with planned rosters in advance.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Assist retail and hospitality in daily operations and ad-hoc tasks.
  • Ensure high standards during show nights for all Food & Beverage services.
  • Prepare stock orders for retail and hospitality.
  • Adhere to all food safety legislation.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Strong hospitality operations experience – essential.
  • Experience in a similar role and business – essential.
  • Previous administration experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment – desirable.
  • Experience in event-based environments within multi-purpose venues – desirable.
  • Knowledge of local and regional entertainment venues.
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
