The Role:

As our Central Hub Manager, you will be responsible for all our Estates Services, which include Non-Routine Reactive, Planned Preventative and Scheduled Maintenance Services providing the best possible support to Venue Teams, clients and customers. This is an integral role for our business, as a pivotal part of your position with us will be ensuring events are delivered whilst ensuring premises are safe, secure and clean fully in compliance with statutory standards.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Contributing to the strategic and general management of Estates Department ensuring that strategies and policies are strictly adhered to.
  • Overseeing design, maintenance, and minor works, including estimates and planning.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations for all works.
  • Managing ASM Global UK’s CAFM and PPM systems to maintain critical infrastructure per SFG20 guidelines.
  • Maintaining audit-ready records for external inspections.
  • Handover of completed projects and adopt new assets into the Computer Aided Facilities Management System (CAFM).
  • Ensuring servicing, repairs and maintenance are completed in compliance with Building Engineering Services Association SFG20 Maintenance Schedules for Business-Critical Estates Infrastructure and Equipment.
  • Providing strong leadership and robust performance management for all staff within scope of responsibility and managing appropriately a range of complex information systems.
  • Setting high customer care standards for all work activity across the ASM Global Central Estate.
  • Participating in the Estates Emergency out of hour’s on-call rota service provision.

You’ll have:

  • Demonstrable experience of managing strategic and operational change, including the impact on assets, resources, services & staff and developing.
  • Experience in managing technical and cleaning staff.
  • Experience of budget management, including P&L accounts.
  • Strong knowledge of building maintenance regulations and engineering infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with Lean methodologies like Total Productive Maintenance.
  • Expertise in energy and carbon reduction management.
  • Strong communication, reporting, and staff development skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of mechanical/electrical systems.
  • Skills in data analysis and interpreting complex information.
  • Proficiency in auditing and managing maintenance contracts.
