Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a diverse portfolio of clients including SMEs, owner-managed businesses and partnerships;
  • Plan, lead, and complete statutory audits in accordance with UK GAAP, FRS 102 / FRS 105, and International Standards on Auditing (UK);
  • Prepare and complete annual statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships;
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing proactive business and financial advice;
  • Supervise and mentor junior and semi-senior staff, reviewing work and supporting professional development (e.g., ACA/ACCA students).

Requirements:

  • Qualified Chartered or Certified Accountant with relevant managerial experience;
  • Audit and accounts experience, including planning, controlling and completing audit and accounts projects;
  • Confident with software packages, and a sound knowledge of advanced Excel skills;
  • Excellent communication, analytical and interpersonal skills;
  • Driven, adaptable and thrives in a busy work environment managing various client tasks.
