This is an exciting opportunity to join the team within one of the UK’s most modern and professional vehicle salvage agents and parts recyclers based in Thame, Oxford.

Key duties

  • This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same.
  • You will be responsible for collecting and transporting motorcycles, electric bikes, scooters, along with Personal Light Electric Vehicles (PLEVs) from customers, dealerships, garages and insurance partners throughout the UK.
  • Driving a company van to collect and transport motorcycles, electric bikes, scooters and other PLEVs.
  • Loading and securing vehicles safely for transportation.
  • Collecting vehicles from private customers, dealerships, workshops and storage locations.
  • Completing collection paperwork and vehicle condition reports.
  • Providing excellent customer service during collections and deliveries.
  • Maintaining high standards of vehicle care, cleanliness and road safety.

The successful candidate will play an important role in providing a professional and efficient collection service, while representing the company to a high standard.

Key skills

  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Previous driving and delivery experience are desirable but not essential.
  • Reliable, punctual and self-motivated.
  • Comfortable working independently and managing your own workload.
  • Physically fit and capable of loading and securing motorcycles and PLEVs safely.
  • Professional manner with good communication skills.
  • Must be able to pass an advanced police vetting check.

Details

  • Working days: Monday - Friday.
  • Working hours: 6:45am - 4:45pm.

Rate of pay

The Salary is £30.5K - £32k + Monthly Bonus. The salary is dependent upon experience and reviewed once the 3‑month probationary period has been successfully completed.
