This is an exciting opportunity to join the team within one of the UK’s most modern and professional vehicle salvage agents and parts recyclers based in Thame, Oxford.
Key duties
- This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same.
- You will be responsible for collecting and transporting motorcycles, electric bikes, scooters, along with Personal Light Electric Vehicles (PLEVs) from customers, dealerships, garages and insurance partners throughout the UK.
- Driving a company van to collect and transport motorcycles, electric bikes, scooters and other PLEVs.
- Loading and securing vehicles safely for transportation.
- Collecting vehicles from private customers, dealerships, workshops and storage locations.
- Completing collection paperwork and vehicle condition reports.
- Providing excellent customer service during collections and deliveries.
- Maintaining high standards of vehicle care, cleanliness and road safety.
The successful candidate will play an important role in providing a professional and efficient collection service, while representing the company to a high standard.
Key skills
- Full UK driving licence.
- Previous driving and delivery experience are desirable but not essential.
- Reliable, punctual and self-motivated.
- Comfortable working independently and managing your own workload.
- Physically fit and capable of loading and securing motorcycles and PLEVs safely.
- Professional manner with good communication skills.
- Must be able to pass an advanced police vetting check.
Details
- Working days: Monday - Friday.
- Working hours: 6:45am - 4:45pm.
Rate of pay
The Salary is £30.5K - £32k + Monthly Bonus. The salary is dependent upon experience and reviewed once the 3‑month probationary period has been successfully completed.
