This is an exciting opportunity to join the team within one of the UK’s most modern and professional vehicle salvage agents and parts recyclers based in Thame, Oxford.

Key duties:

  • The role involves collecting accident damaged and end-of-life vehicles from body shops, garages and private households.
  • Depending on your previous experience, you will be driving a 4 car or an 8 car Transporter.
  • The general collection area is a 50 mile radius from where we are based.

Key skills:

  • Applicants must have the required C+E driving licence, and previous experience is desirable (but not essential).
  • Category C licence holders may be considered if they have the relevant experience in recovery and transportation of motor vehicles.
  • Additional license category training may be considered for the right candidate.
  • The role will also involve the use of handheld PDA’s, so being comfortable dealing with mobile phones/basic IT equipment would also be helpful.
  • The successful candidate must be reliable, enthusiastic and comfortable working in a busy fast-moving environment.

Working days: Monday - Friday

Working hours: 6:45am - 4:45pm

Rate of pay: The starting salary is £39k - £45k depending on experience and whether you drive a 4 car or 8 car transporter + Monthly Bonus.
