Clarion Corvus Trust is seeking to appoint an experienced Nursery Teaching Assistant to work at Manor Field Infant and Nursery School to provide support. You will undertake care, learning programmes and activities to support pupils, including more specialised support for special educational needs, enable access to learning and assist the teacher in the management of the classroom.
We are looking for someone who understands and enjoys working with young people, is well organised, flexible, adaptable and enjoys variety in your work. You will be an excellent communicator with the ability to motivate students and gain their respect. You will need a high level of personal emotional regulation, however the post does offer therapeutic supervision.
Qualifications
- Early Years or Nursery Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent is essential.
- A knowledge of and willingness to learn therapeutic interventions such as Thrive, ELSA and Boxall is required.
