Excel Like a Pro

Since strong Excel experience is a must, make sure you're comfortable with advanced functions and data analysis tools. You might even want to prepare a few scenarios where you've successfully communicated financial information to non-financial stakeholders.

Familiarise Yourself with SAP

While SAP experience is desirable, having a good grasp of any accountancy software is crucial. If you have experience with SAP, be prepared to discuss it. If not, do some research on its functionalities and how it relates to financial accounting. Showing initiative in learning about the tools they use can set you apart from other candidates.
