Stores Person Opportunity in West Sussex Our client, is a world class manufacturing business, their products are distributed worldwide, due to exceptional growth they are new seeking a further dedicated Stores Person to join their team on a permanent basis in West Sussex.
This role is ideal for candidates with experience in warehousing, logistics, or goods handling, and a background in engineering is highly desirable but not essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving, handling, and dispatching goods and products efficiently and safely.
- Managing all aspects of stock control and kit preparation.
- Assisting with the packing of assemblies.
- Processing goods inwards and outwards, including moving stock, kits, and assemblies across the factories.
- Checking in free issue kits and parts accurately. Essential Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in a stores, warehouse, or logistics role.
- Good computer literacy; experience with CRM/ERP systems is advantageous.
- Full UK Driving Licence preferred.
- Counterbalance Forklift Licence is desirable but training can be provided for the right candidate.
- Physically fit with the ability to work standing for 8 hours and perform manual handling.
