We seek an experienced electronics assembler/wiring person for a permanent opportunity in Worthing, previous experience in a similar role is essential as is the ability to work on a wide range of production projects with minimal supervision, Wiring of assemblies, looms, panels, connectors, and electro-mechanical units Reading and working from engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, BOMs, and build instructions Hand soldering and rework where required Mechanical assembly and box-build work Fitting connectors, sleeving, heatshrink, cable ties, labels, and protective coverings Carrying out visual inspection of own work to ensure high standards of workmanship Manufacturing Technician - other skills/knowledge required: Ability to interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and bills of materials Good understanding of wiring, crimping, soldering, and cable assembly techniques Ability to consistently produce high-quality, defect-free work Experience in an electronics, electrical, manufacturing, or assembly environment would be beneficial Experience working in a Lean manufacturing environment would be an advantage Qualifications & Experience: Basic computer literacy Awareness of IPC standards would be an advantage IPC/WHMA-A-620, IPC J-STD-001, or IPC-A-610 certification would be beneficial but not essential, as training may be provided
