Our client is an established food production manufacturer. They are currently recruiting for a Production/Warehouse Operative to join their dedicated team in Rye, East Sussex. The ideal candidate will possess food factory production or food preparation experience, be able to work quickly and efficiently whilst ensuring high standards are maintained. The successful candidate must have their own transport; we understand that Rye does have a train station however due to the company location being almost an hour walk from the station, having own transport is a requirement. As a Production/Warehouse Operative you will be working on a production line, machine operating, picking and packing products and preparing orders for dispatch. You will follow all instructions to ensure quality and quantity of product. The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualities: * Demonstrable food factory production experience or food preparation experience i.e. bakery/restaurant. * Ability to work quickly and efficiently. * Possess a good eye for detail. * Be a strong team player. * Own transport is essential. Your duties as a Production/Warehouse Operative would be: * Machine Operating. * Working on the Production Line. * Following order forms to pick and pack products. * Preparing products for dispatch. * Creating labels for shipping. * Ensuring quality and quantity of product is to company standard. * Complying with company Health and Safety Procedures. Salary: * £12.30 per hour * Salary will increase to £26,500 per annum once taken on permanent Hours: * Monday – Friday, 7am – 4.30pm * Temp to Perm placement Location: Rye, East Sussex Start Date: 1st September 2025 (There is a chance of having 1 week of training at the St Leonards site from 25th August)
