Our client is an established supplier of hot tubs, swim spas and saunas as well as design, installation and maintenance of swimming pools. They are currently recruiting for a Swimming Pool Service and Maintenance Engineer to join their dedicated team in Hastings, East Sussex.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in a similar position, possess excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, basic IT skills and the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
As a Swimming Pool Service and Maintenance Engineer you will undertake:
- General swimming pool construction and pre-plumbing duties
- Installation of pool equipment including pumps, filters, heat pumps and dosing units
- Pool refurbishments
- Scheduled maintenance visits to regular customers
- Pool installation, service and maintenance including cleaning of equipment, pumps, dosing systems, filters and pipe work
- Undertaking water quality tests and record findings
- Hot tub servicing and maintenance including hot tub refresh services, repairing/replacing pipework, pumps and heaters
- Identifying and disclosing future sales and service opportunities at each location
- Helping with quote preparations
- Performing other reasonable duties as requested by the Senior Management
This role is based within the company’s retail showroom but will involve frequent travel to customer’s properties in the East Sussex and Kent area, so a valid and clean driving license is required.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualities:
- Demonstrable experience in a similar position
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Basic IT skill set including Word, Excel and Email
- Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Possess a valid and clean driving license
Salary and Rewards Package:
- £30,000 - £36,000 per annum depending on experience

Hours: Monday – Friday, 7.30am – 5pm. Some Saturday working may be required. Permanent.
