Our client is one of Britain’s leading manufacturers of high-quality upholstered furniture. The team are currently looking for a Warehouse Operative to join their hardworking and dedicated crew in Hastings, East Sussex.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience within a warehouse role, be computer literate, possess good communication skills and have a good eye for detail. You will also be able to work well in a team and have an awareness of Health and Safety in the workplace.
As a Warehouse Operative you will be:
- Receiving deliveries of goods and storing them
- Checking for damaged or missing items
- Packaging goods
- Ensuring all relevant documentation is correct and processed using the company software
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualities:
- Demonstrable experience within a warehouse position
- Be computer literate
- Possess good communication skills
- Have a good eye for detail
- Be a strong team player
Your duties as a Warehouse Operative would include:
- Receiving delivery of goods and storing
- Checking for damaged or missing items
- Moving stock around the warehouse
- Preparing orders for despatch
- Ensuring goods are loaded ready for sending
- Keeping and maintaining stock records
- Data entry
- Maintaining the warehouse in a clean and tidy manner
Salary: £12.71 per hour
Hours: Monday – Thursday, 7.30am – 4.30pm and Friday, 7.30am – 12pm
