Our client is an established manufacturing company, who supply quality manufactured electronic assemblies. They are currently looking for a SMT Operative to join their hardworking and dedicated team on a temp to perm basis in St Leonards on Sea, East Sussex. The ideal candidate will hold demonstrable experience in SMT, be able to use tools and equipment relevant to the position, possess good written and oral communication and have an excellent eye for detail. As a SMT Operative you will place and machine soldering small components, support the Surface Mount assembly processes and run batches of assemblies. The ideal candidate will hold the following skills and experiences: Demonstrable SMT experience Ability to use tools and equipment relevant to the position Possess good written and oral communication Be a strong team player Ability to recognise the importance of a secure and safe environment Possess an excellent eye for detail Your duties as a SMT Operative will include: Placing and machine soldering small components Supporting the Surface Mount assembly processes Running batches of assemblies Loading components onto feeders Routine machine maintenance Complete basic paperwork correctly Salary: £12.21 per hour Hours: Monday – Thursday, 8am – 5pm and Friday 8am – 2pm Temp to Perm Location: St Leonards on Sea, East Sussex Start Date: ASAP
