Our client is an established hotel based within Battle. They are currently looking for an experienced Housekeeper to join their friendly and reliable team.

The ideal Housekeeper will have demonstrable experience as a Housekeeper, possess an excellent eye for detail and be able to work to tight deadlines. As a Housekeeper you will be ensuring all rooms are finished to high standards as well as keeping cupboards stocked and reporting any necessary repairs or replacements.

Due to the hotel's location, the ideal candidate would be able to drive and have their own transport.

The ideal Housekeeper will possess the following skills and qualities:

  • Demonstrable experience within a similar housekeeping role
  • Possess an excellent eye for detail
  • Be able to complete all tasks to the highest of standards
  • Be able to work within a team as well as independently

Your duties as a Housekeeper would be:

  • Dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures
  • Ensuring linen cupboards are stocked and mugs and glasses are cleaned and replaced daily
  • Cleaning public areas such as toilets, tearooms, bar, lounge and reception
  • Cleaning and sanitising toilets, showers/bathtubs, countertops, and sinks
  • Making beds
  • Vacuuming
  • Keeping bathrooms stocked with clean linens, toiletries, and other supplies
  • Cleaning mirrors and other glass surfaces
  • Reporting any necessary repairs or replacements

Salary: £13 per hour

Hours: Part Time

Location: Battle, East Sussex
