Our client is a leading solar research and development company who have over 25 years’ experience within the industry. They are manufacturers, suppliers, and installers of fully accredited advanced solar systems specifically for the UK climate. They are currently recruiting for an AM2 Qualified Electrician to join their dedicated team in Battle, East Sussex.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience within a similar role, hold a City and Guilds 2391 (Inspection and Testing) qualification, be AM2 qualified, hold 18th edition and possess a CSCS gold card. As an AM2 Qualified Electrician will on domestic and commercial projects, installing and maintaining renewable energy systems and electrical circuitry, as well as undertake domestic servicing, inspection and testing.
The ideal candidate will hold the following skills and experiences:
- Demonstrable experience within a similar role
- Hold a City and Guilds 2391 (Inspection and Testing) qualification
- Be AM2 Qualified
- Hold 18th edition
- Possess a CSCS gold card
- Have strong communication and customer service skills
- Must have a full driving licence
- PV Qualification is desirable but not essential
Your duties as an AM2 Qualified Electrician will include:
- Installing and maintaining renewable energy systems and electrical circuitry (PV, Battery, EV charge points and other renewable energy systems as required)
- Undertaking domestic servicing, inspection, testing and maintenance, inclusive of periodic testing
- PPM contract assignments for the company’s commercial clients
- Fault reporting and corresponding with manufacturers whilst on siteEICR reports
- Undertaking training provided by the company: PV Course, SMSTS and Health and Safety training to include Asbestos awareness, WAH, harness and more
Salary:
£42,000 - £46,000 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience)
