We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Freight Administrator to join an expanding team who provide Freight and Logistics services to clients in the Events and Entertainment sectors. This is a varied role and will suit someone looking to build a career in a fast paced and demanding role which can also be very rewarding.
Our client is looking for an enthusiastic candidate with excellent Administration, IT and Customer Service skills to support the Operations team. Role will involve the following:
- Preparing and sending out Collection Notes to drivers and trucking suppliers
- Following up on driver whereabouts and ensuring drivers are running to schedule
- Post flighting and checking vessel departures and arrivals for shipments worldwide
- Giving AWB and BOL instructions
- Researching and gathering costs for quotes from agents and suppliers
- Ensuring costs are correctly uploaded into job cost sheets
- Preparing and sending out ATA Carnets
- Assisting customers with customs paperwork and day to day operational enquiries
Candidate will ideally have some existing knowledge and experience of International Freight Forwarding operations procedures together with excellent administration and customer service skills.
