The successful person will report directly to the Warehouse Manager and will be involved in multiple administration tasks including the following -
Take ownership for all warehouse and transport invoicing ensuring all invoices are sent out on time to not delay payment.
•Work with accounts to chase invoices if required.
•Add costs onto Boxtop promptly to aid speedy invoicing.
•Help monitor the inbox when required and assist if the warehouse and transport team need support to answer calls and reply to emails.
•Handle all facilities and maintenance relating to the warehouse and any warehouse specific equipment, i.e. shutter doors, x-ray machine, racking, pallet loader.
•Collect visitors from the office and bring them down to the warehouse as and when needed. Sign out visitors and escort them out.
•Deal with any post that comes in for the warehouse.
•Help with maintaining the kitchen and other general facilities in the warehouse to ensure supplies are up to date in the communal areas.
•Order warehouse supplies as and when needed for the Warehouse Manager and Supervisor. Packing equipment, rachet straps, high vis jackets.
•Maintain all POD’s and file as necessary.
•Support the HR Manager with any H&S requirements that are required in the warehouse. Reporting accidents and making sure the warehouse is neat, tidy and walkways are clear.
•Monitor the first aid kits and order any needed supplies.
•Support the HR Manager on remedial actions after H&S audits as guided.
•Support any admin for fleet vehicles – booking in services or repairs if needed.
•Book flights for the Warehouse Manager and other warehouse team if out touring.
Essential Skills and Experience -
•At least 5 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in logistics
•Experience working in a warehouse environment
•Experience working in a team in a fast-paced industry
•Excellent organisational skills
•MS experience – Outlook, Excel and Word
•Five-year background check
•DBS background check
Monday-Friday 0900 -1730hrs
Salary is £30K - £35K
