This is a part-time opportunity to join the Psychology and Therapies team at Baldock Manor, supporting the Senior Occupational Therapist and contributing to the success and growth of the hospital. This position would suit someone looking to work 2 days/15 hours or 3 days/15 hours (5 hours a day).
Main duties of the job:
- The role will involve working within multidisciplinary teams across all Nouvita Healthcare units, managing a defined caseload of service users, providing core occupational therapy assessments and interventions that enable service users to work towards recovery.
- Undertaking occupational therapy assessments leading to the identification of service users' needs while addressing occupational performance.
- Planning and implementing individual and group evidence-based interventions, in collaboration with service users and staff, using graded activity to achieve therapeutic goals.

Essential qualifications:
- Diploma/BSc in Occupational Therapy
- HCPC Registration
- Documented continuing professional development (CPD)
Essential experience:
- Post-registration clinical experience across diverse settings, including group and individual work
- Experience in complex mental health supporting vulnerable adults with a range of issues
- Experience applying occupational therapy assessments and interventions relevant to mental health
- Ability to analyse situations and select appropriate treatment plans; experience with functional assessment and activity analysis
- Experience applying health and safety policies, assessing and managing risks
- Experience of multidisciplinary working and understanding of MDT roles
