AskRose is a HMRC-registered tax agent which works tirelessly to help the UK State Pensioners check if they could potentially be due an increase to their State Pension payments after years of underpayments due to missing information on their National Insurance records and HRP credits. As we continue to support those affected, we’re also looking to expand our own team to meet this incredible demand for help and guidance.

Reporting directly to the Operations Director, you will play a crucial part in our day-to-day operations, from management and procedure to litigation and recovery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design the end-to-end credit control function: collections journey, segmentation, escalation matrix, litigation criteria, write-off policy
  • Lead the team in procedure and recruitment
  • Own the KPIs and the post-payment-event collections book: outbound calls, structured letter cycles, SMS, email
  • Manage the soft-chase to formal-demand to litigation pathway alongside our legal team
  • Handle complex disputes personally — fee calculation challenges, deceased estates, deputyships, vulnerable customers
  • Build and maintain a vulnerability framework appropriate for an older and often vulnerable customer base
  • Ensure all collections activity is fully DBA-compliant and aligns with the Terms of Engagement
  • Maintain audit-grade records for reconciliation and any regulator scrutiny
  • Build a cross-county relationship with external litigation solicitors for non-payers
  • Maintain the threshold matrix: when to write off, when to litigate, when to sell on
  • Track recovery economics
  • Weekly collections report to leadership
  • Reconcile fees collected against internal schedules to support reporting cycles
What We’re Looking For

To succeed in this role, we’re looking for an individual from one of the following backgrounds:

  • Senior Credit Manager or Credit Control Manager at a claims firm, legal services business, or consumer credit lender — must have run a function, not just been a senior collector
  • Collections Manager from a high-volume B2C operation — utilities, telco, sub-prime lending, motor finance — with experience of vulnerable customers and FCA-style compliance
  • Litigation or recovery manager from a debt purchase or DCA, ready to step into a build-and-own seat
You Can Boost Your Application With
  • DBA / damages-based agreement collections experience
  • Probate, deceased estate, or deputyship handling experience
  • Prior claims management or financial mis-selling collections exposure
What We Can Offer You
  • Base Salary: £55,000 per annum
  • KPI driven bonus scheme
  • 25 days annual leave + bank holidays
  • Opportunities for personal and professional growth
  • Team socials and training programmes
  • On-site gym and shower facilities
