Personal Assistant to a Health, Nutrition and Exercise Science University Student.
We are recruiting a morning PA to support a third‑year University of Solent student in Weymouth, Dorset. The role will assist with his morning routine and provide academic support.
Start Date: ASAP
Shift Pattern: Monday‑Friday, 6:00‑9:00 am (approx. 2 h each morning)
Location: Weymouth, Dorset (DT3)
Pay & Benefits: £17.05 per hour, 5.6 weeks holiday pro‑rata
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist with hoisting, dressing, personal care (showering, washing, toileting), medication administration and breakfast preparation.
- Support hand exercises, stander use, handsplint application and hydrotherapy as needed.
- Attend university lectures and seminars, take notes, and manage textbooks and laptop.
- Assist with gym practicals, boccia, and travel to competitions.
- Maintain a clean, tidy environment and support general administrative tasks.
Qualifications & Conditions:
- Local to Weymouth DT3 (essential).
- Physically fit, calm, patient, and caring.
- Good organisational and independent working skills.
- Sense of humour, friendly, positive attitude.
- Strong communication skills.
- Comfortable around pets (client has a cat).
- Clean and tidy appearance.
- Non‑smoker and non‑vaper.
- Ability to work in a wheelchair environment (client is full‑time wheelchair‑bound).
Care experience is not required; full training will be provided.
