About the role:

Are you passionate about supporting students to achieve their full potential? We are looking for a dedicated Progress Tutor to join our York campus, working with a cohort of Equine students. In this role, you will deliver engaging group sessions focused on life skills and employability skills through our Progression and Development program. Additionally, you will provide pastoral support and monitor student progress and attendance through one-to-one tutorials.

You will work closely with teams across the College, including Curriculum, Student Services, Quality, and Work Placement teams, to ensure students are fully prepared for their next steps and equipped with the skills to stay safe beyond college.

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who is committed to helping students overcome barriers and thrive in their educational journey. You should be passionate about student success, adaptable to working both collaboratively and independently, and eager to bring fresh ideas to the Progress Tutor role.

Start Date: The College operates 2 starter/induction days per month to welcome and onboard new members. These are usually the first Monday and third Wednesday of each month (unless there is a bank holiday).

Askham Bryan College is a specialist land-based college based across the North of England with centres in York, Middlesbrough, Saltaire, Wakefield and Gateshead.
