About the role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Nursing Lecturer/ Course Manager with experience of supporting students through veterinary nursing programmes to join our Veterinary Nursing Department/Team here at our Gateshead campus. This role will be working part time on a fixed term basis. Previous applicants need not apply.

We are seeking an individual who will be responsible for course and module organisation in addition to teaching across veterinary nursing programmes across levels 2-6. The successful candidate must be a registered veterinary nurse (RVN). Educated to degree level or above in a relevant subject, candidates should hold a teaching qualification or be willing to work towards one. With excellent knowledge a breadth of clinical veterinary nursing fields, you will have experience of supporting veterinary nursing students either in an educational setting, or clinical environment.

Interviews: Wednesday 3rd June 2026

Start Date: The College operates 2 starter/induction days per month to welcome and onboard new members. These are usually the first Monday and third Wednesday of each month (unless there is a bank holiday).
