Job Title: Lecturer in Sport and Public Services

Location: York

Contract Type: Part-Time – 30hrs, Fixed Term

Salary: SP26 - £31,758 to SP29 £34,699 per annum/pro rata

We have an exciting opportunity for a Lecturer in Sport and Public Services to join our growing Sport & Public Services team in York. This role will be working 30 hrs per week on a Fixed Term Contract. You will be working in a hard-working, enthusiastic and evolving department and have a great opportunity to put your own stamp on future developments.

We are seeking an individual who will be responsible for the delivery of Sport and Public Service qualifications. Sector experience and technical qualifications related to industry are essential.

The successful candidate will deliver a range of units and levels across our Sport and Public Service provision, receiving opportunities to develop their own teaching with our in‑house Advanced Teaching and Learning Coaches. As well as the opportunity to access sector specific CPD.

With experience in either / both the Sport and Public Service industry and a passion for what you do, you may not have experience in teaching, but must be willing to work in a dynamic and challenging environment that is exciting, engaging and rewarding. Above all, you will be ready to learn and keen to positively influence the future of our students.

Start Date: The College operates 2 starter/induction days per month to welcome and onboard new members. These are usually the first Monday and third Wednesday of each month (unless there is a bank holiday).
