Learning and Digital Resources Lead

Salary: SP26 - £31,758 to SP29 - £34,699 per annum.

Contract: Full-time – 37 hours per week, Permanent.

The role requires a passionate and driven individual to create an outstanding learning resource and digital skills service that inspires curiosity, removes barriers to learning and equips every student and member of staff with the confidence, skills and resources to succeed. You’ll lead the development of innovative physical and online digital learning environments, ensuring every learner has seamless access to high-quality resources, expert support and future-focused digital capability. The role will champion academic, research and digital literacy through engaging inductions, learning experiences, inspiring content and sector-leading services that become integral to teaching, learning and student success. It requires a leader who will inspire and develop a small team of learning resource assistants across two campuses, using insight and investment to continually improve the learner experience and maximise impact.

You’ll be an inspiring leader with experience of developing high-quality learning, library or digital resource services within an educational environment. You'll bring excellent organisational and leadership skills, experience of leading teams and projects, and a commitment to creating inclusive, engaging and future-focused learning environments where every learner can succeed.

Start Date: The College operates two starter/induction days per month to welcome and onboard new members. These are usually the first Monday and third Wednesday of each month (unless there is a bank holiday).

About the College: Askham Bryan College is a specialist land-based college with centres in York, Middlesbrough, Saltaire, Wakefield and Gateshead.
