About the role
An exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, learner-focused Animal and Livestock Lecturer to join the Foundation Learning Department at the York Campus. The position is for a practitioner with knowledge of supporting high-needs learners, helping them progress from Level 1 to Level 2 and driving quality across all elements of the study programme. The role supports student recruitment, departmental events, awarding bodies and partners and contributes to community and adult education provision.
In this role, you will lead on elements of the curriculum, ensuring full compliance with Study Programme requirements and supporting high-quality teaching, learning and assessment. You will support learners’ personal development, ensure access to meaningful CPD, work placements and progression opportunities, and demonstrate a strong understanding of learners with EHCPs and a commitment to safeguarding, values and continuous improvement.

Start Date: The College runs two induction days per month (usually the first Monday and third Wednesday), except on bank holidays.
