*Salary:* Competitive – Dependent on Experience £37,000-£40,000, including overtime engineers can earn in excess of £50,000
*Door-to-door pay* – Engineers are paid from the time they leave home until they return home.
*Overtime paid at time and a half (1.5x)* – All hours worked over 40 hours per week are paid at 1.5 times the engineer's normal hourly rate
*About the Role*
Askews are looking for an experienced Commercial Plumbing & Gas Engineer to join our growing Installation Department.
The successful candidate will carry out commercial plumbing and gas installations, servicing, maintenance and reactive breakdown repairs across our customers' sites throughout the UK.
This is a varied role involving nationwide travel, occasional overnight stays and participation in our out-of-hours on-call rota.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Commercial plumbing and gas installations, servicing and repairs.
* Installation and maintenance of commercial boilers, heating and hot water systems.
* Fault finding, diagnostics and reactive breakdown repairs.
* Planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
* Completing job reports and identifying additional works.
* Working safely and professionally across customer sites nationwide.
* Participating in the company's on-call rota.
*Requirements*
* Relevant commercial Gas Safe qualifications.
* NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing and Heating or equivalent experience.
* Experience in commercial plumbing, heating and gas systems.
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Willingness to travel nationwide, occasionally work away and participate in the on-call rota.
