We’re building AI to make humans irreplaceable. Ethos is the platform that matches human expertise to paid opportunities, from advisory roles to consulting opportunities and full-time positions, backed by a16z, General Catalyst and other top investors.

Small team. Flat hierarchy. High ownership. We build first, experiment rapidly, and automate every process after mastering it once. We lead with taste, clarity, and empathy. We are looking for winners with a heart of gold.

The Role

You will run the end-to-end pipeline that delivers expert talent to our foundational AI lab clients — from recruiting and screening through matching and data production. These clients are building the most advanced AI systems in the world, and they need precisely the right people with precisely the right domain knowledge.

You will own the quality, speed, and scale of expert delivery. You will identify bottlenecks, design better processes, and work closely with our AI engineering team to automate everything that can be automated. You master a process by hand, then you never do it by hand again.

Why Ethos

  • Early-stage team where your work directly shapes the product and company trajectory.
  • Mission that matters: advancing human opportunity in the age of AI.
  • Backed by tier-one investors who believe in what we're building.
  • No bureaucracy. High trust, high autonomy, high impact.

Key requirements

  • Restless energy — deeply organised, completely self-driven; runs projects end-to-end without waiting for permission or direction.
  • The spirit of the party: creates energy, momentum, and community in every group; experts and clients want to work with you.
  • Manages complex, multi-step workflows involving many stakeholders without dropping balls.
  • Sharp judgment on people — can quickly assess whether an expert is the right fit for a specific client need.
  • Breaks ambiguous problems into clear workstreams and executes against them.
  • Communicates with precision and warmth; comfortable interfacing directly with AI lab clients and experts.
  • Defaults to doing, not discussing.
  • Fluent in data, tooling, spreadsheets, CRMs, and AI-assisted workflows — doesn't need to code, but never blocked by technology.
