We are looking for a dynamic, results-driven person to join this highly successful market leading business. In this pivotal role, you will lead a team of 3 Area Sales Managers and oversee revenue generation, customer relationships, and the growth of large dealer accounts within your assigned region. Your main focus will be on acquiring new accounts, growing the existing dealer base, and coaching your team to achieve their targets.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and support the team as well as making a personal contribution to:
- Identify and promote products and services to prospective new large dealer clients
- Account Management of existing large dealers, maintaining relationships to ensure retention and growth of existing accounts whilst seeking opportunities for growth
- Ensure sales targets within your dedicated region are achieved to the KPIs
- Cross-selling group products and services
- Sales reporting including weekly Pipeline and Activity Reports
- Attend conferences, training courses and sales meetings within the region or UK
- Manage, and/or escalate any identified risks in relation to internal risk policies and external regulations
- Strong understanding of vehicle stock funding – its benefits and handling dealer applications
- Strong communicator with the ability to influence and present effectively to board-level stakeholders, clients, and internal teams
- In-depth knowledge of the automotive industry, with particular experience in used vehicle retail sales
- Proven ability to develop business relationships and drive growth through effective sales strategies
- Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to analyse and interpret financial information, such as company accounts and sales projections
- Successful account management and business development experience
Working Pattern: Home-working with regular travel across the East and South of England.
