We're offering a 6-month fixed term contract, a fantastic opportunity to get hands‑on with end‑to‑end technical project delivery at a company that takes its technology seriously. If you're a technically minded engineer who enjoys variety, problem‑solving, and seeing a project through from planning to completion, we'd love to hear from you.

As a Project Delivery Engineer at ASK4, you'll take ownership of the technical side of new site deployments, from initial planning and equipment configuration through to live handover. You'll work remotely to support on‑site engineers and third parties, configure LAN infrastructure, and ensure every project is delivered on time and to a high standard. No two projects are the same, and you'll be working across a range of site sizes and complexity levels, making this a role where you'll genuinely grow your skills and experience.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Configuring site equipment ahead of installation
  • Setting up and provisioning LAN infrastructure including switches and access points, in line with design and scope
  • Supporting on‑site engineers and third parties remotely during installs, upgrades, and takeovers
  • Fault finding across wireless APs, switches, Linux, and RouterOS systems
  • Preparing clear documentation and work packs for installers and support teams
  • Bringing third‑party network services online and troubleshooting where needed
  • Keeping stakeholders updated on project progress and flagging issues promptly
  • Completing a handover of each site with detailed information to support long‑term maintenance

About You

You have a solid technical foundation in networking and a logical, methodical approach to problem‑solving. You'll bring:

  • Working knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
  • A strong understanding of TCP/IP within an ISP environment
  • Experience with switching infrastructure and protocols
  • Knowledge of LAN, WAN, and wireless technologies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional approach when dealing with stakeholders
  • A self‑motivated attitude and a genuine enthusiasm for learning and development
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work well as part of a team
  • A networking qualification (Ruckus, MikroTik, or Huawei preferred), previous experience in a second line or NOC environment within an ISP, or a PRINCE2 qualification would all be great to have, but are not essential.

We are committed to fostering an inclusive workplace where diversity is valued. We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds and identities and ensure fair treatment for all, regardless of protected characteristics under the Equality Act 2010. We are happy to make reasonable adjustments throughout the recruitment process and beyond, to ensure it is accessible and fair for everyone.
