  • Ensure correct integration of local staff networks, OSNs, and core services
  • Work with multi-vendor environments to deliver consistent network outcomes
  • Support migration from tail links and NNI circuits to dark fibre
  • Create and execute detailed migration plans in advance of site cutovers
  • Coordinate and support site migrations across multiple locations
  • Provide technical direction to field engineering teams during deployment
  • Provide fault finding, diagnostics, and performance verification post-migration
  • Validate network configurations and ensure services are operating as expected
  • Interpret network diagrams, schematics, and site designs to support delivery
  • Liaise with project managers, field engineers, and third-party suppliers
  • Produce clear and accurate configuration and migration documentation
  • Ensure all activities comply with security, operational, and safety standards

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience configuring core network equipment (routers, switches, firewalls, OOB devices)
  • Strong experience with dark fibre networks and site migrations (tail links, NNI transitions)
  • Solid understanding of network fundamentals including routing, switching, VLANs, and IP networking
  • Experience working with local staff networks and OSN integration
  • Ability to interpret network diagrams, schematics, and technical designs
  • Proven track record in network troubleshooting and validation
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accurate configuration and documentation
  • Ability to work independently in a structured, delivery-focused environment

Desirable Skills & Environment:

  • Experience with carrier-grade equipment, such as Edgecore switches, servers, APC PDUs and UPS systems, MikroTik routers and switches
  • Understanding of fibre principles, including attenuation, ILM, OTDR, and IOLM testing
  • Knowledge of network security and access control practices
  • Experience on large-scale ISP rollout or migration programmes
  • Exposure to multi-vendor network environments
