About the Role
As a Project Delivery Engineer at ASK4, you will be part of our Enable Team within the Provisioning department, playing a central role in the end-to-end technical delivery of industry-leading LAN and wireless data services. From preparing configurations and provisioning infrastructure to supporting on-site engineers and keeping project stakeholders informed, your work directly enables students and residents to stay connected in the places they live.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, configure and provision LAN and wireless network infrastructure, including using Zero Touch Provisioning (ZTP)
- Order and manage site equipment in line with project budgets and shipment deadlines
- Create and maintain work packs and Plans of Works for each installation
- Provide remote support to on-site engineers during installation phases
- Troubleshoot wireless access points, switches, Linux and RouterOS systems
- Support third parties with provisioning of ancillary systems such as CCTV and door access
- Produce clear documentation to support the wider team in resolving customer issues
- Keep project stakeholders updated on installation progress
About You
We are looking for a technically capable and organised individual who can balance hands-on technical work with clear communication. You will need:
- A degree, qualification or equivalent experience in IT or networking
- Understanding of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN technologies, switching infrastructure and wireless technologies within an ISP environment
- Working knowledge of Windows, Linux and Microsoft Excel
- A logical, methodical approach to problem-solving with excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication skills able to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- The ability to stay calm and adapt quickly during busy delivery periods
Desirable (not essential):
- Second line or NOC team experience within an ISPA
- Networking qualification from Huawei, ALE or Cambium
