About the Role ASK4 is a Sheffield-headquartered technology company delivering connectivity and smart building services across the UK and Europe. As our Maintenance Operative, you will look after the places our colleagues work in. You will fix what needs fixing, keep every site tidy and compliant, and help us settle into new premises as we grow. Reporting to the Data Centre & Facilities Manager, you will enjoy variety and room to organise your own week. Key Responsibilities Keep our offices clean, tidy and in good repair, including occasional gardening Travel to ASK4 sites across the UK and Europe, including overnight stays Work through maintenance tickets on time Look after our company vehicles, from records, repairs and trackers to driver onboarding Carry out fire door, ladder and PPE inspections Keep health and safety on track, including regulatory testing, fire drills, COSHH and contractor checks before work begins Survey and set up new premises Cover reception desk and facilities administration when needed Act as fire warden and first aider, and respond to occasional emergencies, with time off in lieu About You Skilled with hand and power tools Self-motivated, flexible and happy to use your own initiative Comfortable with everyday IT, such as email, calendars and databases Full, valid driving licence, your own vehicle and a valid passport Happy to travel regularly, including overnight stays First aid or fire door inspection training is helpful, not essential We are committed to fostering an inclusive workplace where diversity is valued.
