We are recruiting on behalf of our client, who is a university student at the University of Warwick. Our client is looking for a like-minded individual to join his current care team to provide his personal care and independent living support. This is a great opportunity to help make a positive impact on a young adult's life.

Start: Early September 2026

Rota: 7 days on / 7 days off (A mixture of days & nights)

Location: Uni of Warwick (CV4 7AL) / Home in Oxford

Pay: £170 per day / £1,190 per week worked

Free accommodation whilst on shift. Holidays: 5.6 weeks holiday pro rata.

About the Job

About our Client

Our client lives with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and is a full-time wheelchair user. He values his independence and works alongside a team of dedicated Personal Assistants who support him in living life on his own terms. He is a young man with a great sense of humour, who enjoys building positive, professional relationships with his care team. He knows his own needs and will let you know when support is required; he isn't looking to be "mothered," but rather someone who respects his independence while being attentive and reliable.

As his Personal Assistant, you will provide support across all aspects of daily living, helping to promote his comfort, independence, and overall quality of life. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference while working closely with an engaging and personable individual.

As written by him: "In my free time, I enjoy reading, listening to music, watching films/TV and I am particularly keen to hire PAs who share these interests. I'm also eager to find PAs who are relaxed, self-aware and not patronising, with respect for personal boundaries and a sense of humour."

Qualifications and Requirements:
