Ask Jules is looking for a Personal Care Assistant to provide support to a 29-year-old male who is a Football Studies & Business graduate with Cerebral Palsy.
Location: Southampton (SO16)
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: Live-in, flexible (1 week on/1 week off or 2 weeks on/2 weeks off)
Pay: £150 per day worked raised to £170 per day on completion of probation, free accommodation when on shift, and 5.6 weeks holiday pro rata.
About the Client:
Our client is a friendly, motivated guy with a passion for football, video games, and an active social life. He enjoys discussing football from an analytical perspective, going out to clubs, and spending time with friends. He is looking for a PA who shares these interests to help with personal care, health support, and social activities.
The Role:
This live-in role is more than just care work; it's a "flatmate" experience. You'll help with day-to-day activities, personal care, and join in the fun, whether it’s going to the cinema, weekend trips, or watching football. Many previous PAs have used the flexible schedule to travel and visit friends during their time off. No care experience is required, as full training will be provided.
