We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a young university graduate who is looking for a like-minded individual to provide their personal care and independent living support. This is a great opportunity to make a positive impact on a young adult's life.
Hours: 8am-5pm Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm Saturday, 9am - 12pm Sunday.
Location: Hanwell, London, W7
Start Date: ASAP
Pay rate: £15 per hour
Holidays: 5.6 weeks holiday pro rata
About Our Client: Our client has a disability called Arthrogryposis which causes weak muscles and stiff joints. They will require your help with everyday tasks such as personal care, social care, and daily living.
Your responsibilities will include assisting with mobility, personal care, and facilitating their participation in social activities:
- Personal Care: Bathing, Dressing, Toileting.
- Health Care: Administrating medicine, using medical equipment.
- Social Support
- Housekeeping / Domestic duties
About You: You are unlikely to have experience in every aspect of our client's care; therefore, full training in their particular needs is provided. An ideal applicant's requirements are:
- You will need to be physically fit, calm, patient, and caring.
- Full UK driving licence is preferred but not essential.
- Have the ability to commit to shifts (days, nights, weekends etc). Must be flexible.
- Confident in driving a medium-sized van.
- Fluent in the English Language.
- Enjoy social events, work, and university.
- Can carry out domestic tasks such as cleaning, ironing, washing, and cooking.
- Reliable and trustworthy.
- Provide on-call cover for absent colleagues.
- Non-Smoker.
You must be able to respect our client's privacy and understand the need for confidentiality in all areas of your work.
