About the Role
Ask Jules is recruiting a Live-In Personal Care Assistant on behalf of our client in Hussingtree, Worcestershire. This is an opportunity to become part of a friendly and supportive team of PAs, helping our client with day-to-day life while supporting him to remain as independent as possible. The role covers a range of support, including personal care, healthcare, social activities, companionship, daily living, housekeeping and domestic duties, as well as commuting to and from work. Previous care experience is not required. Full training will be provided to ensure you are confident supporting our client with his individual needs.
About Our Client
Our client was born with Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type 3, a genetic condition which causes weakened muscles and means he is a full-time wheelchair user. He lives at home with his parents and works within the family business while working towards becoming a financial adviser. He values his independence and wants his PAs to support him in living life on his own terms. He describes himself as easy-going, sociable and easy to get along with, with a good sense of humour. He is looking for someone who is patient, understanding and able to work with him as a team.
Job Role
As a Personal Care Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Personal care
