Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate individual to join our team in supporting a young wheelchair user with Muscular Dystrophy. This role involves assisting him both at home and while he\’s at work, so a degree of flexibility is required.
Start Date:ASAP
Pay Rate: £15 per hour
Shifts: 2 days per week (Flexibility required) with view of covering more shifts if needed
Hours: 7:30 am until 7:30 pm (12 hours)
Holidays: 5.6 weeks holiday pro rata.

About the Job
Duties would include:
- Providing comprehensive support in daily activities, both at home and during outings
- Driving the client\’s automatic vehicle
- Light housework and meal preparation
- Offering personal care assistance
- Assisting during social outings
Previous care experience is not necessary; comprehensive training will be provided. For the right person, our client may offer more working hours in the future.
About You
You should:
- Hold a clean Automatic driving licence (Essential)
- Comfortable around Cats and Dogs (Essential)
- Reside locally in the ST3 area (Desirable)
- Be motivated, enthusiastic, reliable, and organized
- Demonstrate initiative and flexibility
- Have excellent communication skills and be a good listener
- Work well both independently and in a team
- Be fluent in English and present yourself in a smart and professional manner
- Exhibit patience, kindness, and a friendly demeanour
