Ask Jules are recruiting on behalf of our client, a PhD History student at the University of Cardiff. The client suffers from Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and as such is a full-time wheelchair user with significant weakness in his arms. He is looking for a PA to assist with daily life.
Start: June 15th 2026
Rota: Live-in 7 days on / 7 days off
Location: Based at Cardiff University during term time until September, then relocating to Cheltenham until December, with the possibility of extension beyond this period
Pay: £150 per day / £1,050 per week worked
Free accommodation whilst on shift

Holidays: 5.6 weeks holiday pro rata
An Automatic Driving Licence is a requirement, as you will be driving our client's automatic vehicle.

He also enjoys watching rugby and holds 6 Nations tickets, making match days a highlight for him. He also enjoys going out and socialising at a pub. An avid follower of current affairs, politics, and international news, values open-minded discussions and seeks a PA who can engage in thoughtful conversations. His hobbies also include playing the guitar, watching films like the Bourne series and Lord of the Rings, and unwinding with Xbox gaming.
