Are you a recent graduate looking for an exciting, meaningful role? Ask Jules is recruiting on behalf of our client, a young man starting his first year at the University of Manchester. He will be studying Aerospace Engineering and is looking for a like-minded PA to support his independence and studies.
Start: ASAP
Rota: 12 hours shifts / between 3 & 4 shifts per week / Mix of days and Waking Nights. Full rota will be discussed over the phone
Pay: £16/hour
Location: University of Manchester (M13)

About the Job
Our client is moving from home to begin his Aerospace Engineering degree at The University of Manchester. He is looking for a PA who can act more like a supportive friend than a care worker. He is looking for a companion who is happy helping him balance studying, socialising and everyday life.
You will assist with:
- Personal care and health care tasks
- Accompanying for events and nights out
- Domestic duties such as cooking and cleaning
- Assisting with university life and daily routines
- Supporting occasional travel in the UK and abroad (passport desirable)
Care experience is not essential as full training in our client's specific needs will be provided.
About Our Client
He has Spinal Muscular Atrophy and is a full-time powered wheelchair user. He is excited to explore all that university life has to offer from Aerospace Engineering design projects, to joining societies, nights out and spontaneous plans with friends.
His interests include:
- Music: loves hip hop and attending live music events. Artists he enjoys include Drake, Juice WRLD, J. Cole and Post Malone
- Football: a passionate Manchester United fan and attends matches regularly
- Travelling: recently visited Athens and Kalamata in Greece
- Films: especially sci-fi like Interstellar
- Space, History and Paleontology
