Hourly Personal Care Assistant - Night Staff in London

We are looking for a team of Night Personal Care Assistants to a Management Research PhD Student. This will be assisting with our clients needs during the night.
This role is especially suited to individuals who are passionate about supporting mental health and psychological wellbeing.
AskJules are looking for a team of open minded and reliable PAs to support our client, a young wheelchair user who has started their PhD in Management Research. They are studying at Kings College London and are living in postgraduate halls. This is a great opportunity to help make a positive impact on a person's life!
Start : ASAP
Rota : 3 nights on, 4 nights off
Location : Kings College London, Strand (WC2R 2LS)
Pay : £15 per hour
About the Job:
Our client lives in Zone 1 in central London and undertakes their PhD in Management Research at Kings College London. They are looking for a team of intuitive, friendly and inclusive care assistants that will support them throughout the night, ensuring that care is delivered in a respectful and discreet manner. As this is a waking night, you will be required to monitor a video feed to keep to eye on any seizure activity throughout the night. There are spaces around the building that you can make use of to do this, including the common room, kitchen area and library.
As well as responding to seizures, you will assist them with:
- Personal Care
- Health Care
- Social Support
- Housekeeping / Domestic duties
The client also has an assistance dog and requires help with managing the tasks that come with keeping him healthy, safe and happy! For a waking night, this would involve taking him out for his night time wee, and ...
