Are you a recent graduate and looking for an exciting opportunity? We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a recent graduate of Social Sciences with Cerebral Palsy. She is looking for a compassionate PA to enable her to be as independent as possible.

Start Date: ASAP

Working: Hourly minimum 30 hours per week (10 hour shifts)

Location: Chichester

Rate of Pay & Benefits:

  • Pay: £15 per hour
  • Accommodation provided when on shift
  • 5.6 week's holiday pro rata.

About our Client:

Our client has recently completed her degree at Southampton Solent University doing a Social Sciences following a Foundation Year. She has a diagnosis of Cerebral Palsy and is a full-time wheelchair user. She has a great sense of humour and doesn't take life too seriously. Our client enjoys watching TV and Netflix. She leads an active social life, meeting up with friends and family to go shopping, eating out or the cinema. With a kind and delightful persona, she is keen to step into the working world.

About the Job:

This is a fantastic opportunity to truly make a positive difference to somebody else's life. To assist our client to achieve her goals and aspirations. Therefore, this job offers the prospect of meaning and job satisfaction. You will provide our client's health and social care. This is also a flat mate type of role which goes far beyond simply care work, and includes all the fun things you'd expect a graduate to be doing, like getting out and about to see friends, going to parties, attending events and much more! Care experience is not required as full training in our client's particular requirements will be provided. A clean UK driving licence is required for this role, as you will be driving our client's adapted car.

About You:

  • Hold a clean automatic driving licence (you will be required to drive our client's adapted car). Owning your own car is essential to get to shift.
  • To be physically fit, calm, patient and caring.
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to work on your own initiative.
  • To have a good sense of humour.
  • A mature and responsible attitude.
  • Good communication skills.
  • To be fluent in English.
  • To be clean and tidy in both your appearance and ways.
