About our Client

Our client has just started her second year at University of Bristol studying Music.

She has a great sense of humour and doesn’t take life too seriously. Outside of her studies she enjoys a wide range of social activities, such as visiting theatre and watching sports. Our client is a para-athlete, who takes part in training trips and competitions frequently.

She leads an active social life and enjoys going out and about. With a kind and delightful persona, she is keen to embrace the full University life.

As written by our client…

“I have Spinal Muscular Atrophy type 2, which is a muscle wasting condition meaning my body is incredibly weak and I am unable to do most physical tasks. In short, I basically can’t do most things on my own. Due to this, I am looking for a team of PAs to help me in my daily life.

Outside of my studies, I enjoy a wide range of social activities and so will sometimes need a PA to support with this. This will include driving my van at times so you would need a full clean UK driver’s licence. Galivanting aside, I will need help with the “boring” stuff I am not able to do, such as cooking, helping me eat/drink, cleaning, laundry, and care tasks such as getting me up and putting me to bed, showering me, personal care needs and medications throughout the day.”
