Location: London (client home) and Uni of Manchester (M13)
Shift Pattern: Live in (one week on, one week off)
Essential: You must hold a clean UK Driving Licence
Rate of Pay & Benefits:
- Pay: £200 per shift worked
- Holidays: 5.6 weeks (pro rata)

About our Client: Our client is a Geography student at the University of Manchester going into his second year. He has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) and will need help with personal care, daily routines, transferring with a hoist, and navigating university life. He is a music and football lover, looking for someone who shares similar interests and wouldn't mind venturing to gigs, concerts, and football matches.
About the Job: This is a fantastic opportunity to truly make a positive difference in somebody else's life. You will assist our client in achieving his goals and aspirations, offering meaningful job satisfaction. We are looking for a positive, like-minded PA to assist with day-to-day living and general support at university, helping him lead as independent a life as possible. The role includes personal care, socialising, and general tasks, as well as enjoying activities typical of a university student, such as going out, seeing friends, and day trips.
As written by the client: I love going to watch live music. I've seen Oasis, Arctic Monkeys, and Sam Fender recently. I want to get involved in the music scene in Manchester, both performing and attending gigs. I am also a big football and Formula 1 fan. I am a season ticket holder at Brentford (Premier League team in London) and may occasionally travel back to London to watch a game. I might also go and watch Brentford when they play in Manchester (or nearby). I think I am friendly and outgoing and enjoy hanging out with friends. I hope to make the most of many social opportunities at university. I am very close to my family (I have 2 younger sisters) and will travel back to London to stay with them during non-term time.
