Job Description

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a creative female in her early 20s, who is looking for a like-minded person to join their care team. Join their team of PAs who provide their personal care and independent living support.

This role starts in Guildford and includes full training and support. In September, the client will be going to Cambridge university to study History and Archaeology.

We are ideally looking for one fully flexible PA willing to cover both locations however this role could be split amongst two PAs. Onecovering term time at Cambridge university and the second covering holiday support at home in Guildford.

Start Date: August 2025

Location: Initial training in Guildford at the client’s home (Surrey)

From September 2025 the role will be supporting the client at Cambridge University

Pay: £15 per hour (day) & £75 per overnight stay

Initial Shift Pattern: 3 to 4 days p/w (rota dependant)

Initial Hours: 8am to 10pm (with on-call in the evenings) & occasional night shifts

Shift Pattern from September: 7 shifts on / 7 shifts off

An Automatic UK Driving licence is required for this position as you will be required to drive the client’s vehicle.

About the Role

We’re hiring on behalf of a friendly and creative university student looking for a like-minded Personal Assistant to provide 1:1 care and independent living support. You’ll assist with:

– Personal and health care

– Cooking and domestic tasks

– University life – including admin support and commuting

– Socialising and day-to-day planning

About the Client

Our client is a determined and creative 22-year-old with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, ADHD, and autism. She enjoys crafts, nature, and history and is about to start her Archaeology degree at the University of Cambridge (Hughes Hall). She lives with her family (and cat and dog) in Guildford until term starts in September.

Qualifications and Requirements:

– A valid UK driving license (Essential)

– Confident driver

– Previous care experience preferred, but full training is provided

– Comfortable with domestic tasks and personal care

– You must be open to relocating (accommodation provided while working)

– LGBTQ+ inclusive

– Comfortable around pets
