About the Job
This is a fantastic opportunity to truly make a positive difference to somebody else’s life. To assist our client to achieve her goals and aspirations. Therefore, this job offers the prospect of meaning and job satisfaction. You will provide our client's health and social care within her own home and when out and about. Although she lives on her own, she does have a big family presence. Within this role it goes far beyond simply care work and includes all the fun things you’d expect a young graduate to be doing. Our client is a qualified teacher, who has just finished her Master of Arts in Special and Inclusive Education and is looking for a job in a Special Education teaching role, which you would go with her to once found.
You will be expected to be flexible with the other PA to cover holidays once agreed by everyone.
Start Date: December 2025
Shifts: One week on/off
Pay: £250.00 per day/Approx £40,000 per annum
Location: Bolton BL7
Care experience is not required as full training in our client’s particular requirements will be provided. You must hold a full clean UK driving licence as you will be driving our client’s adapted automatic van.

- Driving to and from and attending appointments
- Attending Powerchair Football Competitions and training
- Light domestic duties
As written by her: “It is important to me that you listen and respect my wishes, I like things a certain way and will happily explain how you can help me, then it will be your responsibility to carry out said tasks. It is important to me that you are punctual and can work on your own initiative, alongside following my instructions. I am looking for a job, and there will be times, when I am at work etc, where I will explain what I need assistance with and when, then it will be up to you to observe and complete the tasks when appropriate.”
About You
You are unlikely to have experience in every aspect of our client’s care therefore full training in her particular needs is provided. You will need:
- To be physically fit, calm, patient and caring
- Good organisational skills and the ability to work on your own initiative
- To have a good sense of humour
- A mature and responsible attitude
- Good communication skills
- To be fluent in English
- To be clean and tidy in both your appearance and ways
- To be a non-smoker
- A full clean UK driving licence - you need to be a confident Motorway driver
- Experience with children preferred but not essential
