Job Description

Live in Carer – Personal Care to a student studying at the University of Warwick

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, who is a university student at the University of Warwick. Our client is looking for a like-minded individual to join his current care team to provide his personal care and independent living support. This is a great opportunity to help make a positive impact on a young adult’s life.

Start: ASAP

Rota: 7 days on / 7 days off (Rotating – Day shifts, then night shift the following week)

Location: Uni of Warwick (CV4 7AL)

Pay: £170 per day = £1,190 per week worked

Free accommodation whilst on shift.

Holidays: 5.6 weeks holiday pro rata

Care experience is not required as full training in our client's particular requirements will be provided.

About our Client

Our client has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and as a result, is a full-time wheelchair user. He relies on the assistance of dedicated caregivers to maintain his independence and well-being. This young individual has a great sense of humour and is not looking to be mothered by his PA's. The client will let you know if and when he requires assistance. Your responsibilities will encompass every aspect of daily life to ensure his comfort and quality of life.
