About our Client

Our client is a University student who is studying MA Creative Arts at Lincoln University. He lives with Cerebral Palsy and is looking for someone understanding and patient, who can aid him in being as independent as possible. Our client is also in the process of transitioning from female to male, so care and support for him during this time is essential for his well-being. Our client enjoys a wide variety of things including sailing, concerts, ice hockey and football games, clubbing and attending galleries as an artist and an art nerd. He also plays powerchair football for Nottinghamshire PFC and is in the National Premiership and Regional League!

As written by him: It's important that you are a good communicator, because this is key to a solid working relationship, especially whilst we get into a routine. It is also important you are open-minded as I am part of the LGBTQ community. I'm also part of sailing and football clubs and will need taking to these practices so an ability to get along with a range of people is essential. Although attending events for sports and art exhibitions can sometimes involve extra support, I am actually very independent and need someone that will respect and promote this.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • A full and clean UK driving license (Essential)
  • Open-minded with a great working attitude
  • Excellent sense of humour and ability to not take life too seriously
  • Physical fitness, patience, and a caring nature
  • Strong communication and listening skills
  • Mature and responsible attitude
  • Fluent in English
  • Clean and tidy appearance
