We are recruiting on behalf of our client, who is looking for a like-minded person to join their care team. Join their team of PAs who provide personal care and independent living support. This is a great opportunity to help make a positive impact on a young adult's life.

Start: June 2026

Rota: 24 hours per week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday 11am-7pm)

Location: Cardiff (CF83)

Pay: £18 per hour

Holidays: 5.6 weeks holiday pro rata

A Full UK Driving licence is required for this position as you will be required to drive the client's adapted vehicle.

About the Job

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive difference in somebody else's life. Our client is a young adult who is a full-time wheelchair user and relies on the assistance of caregivers to maintain their independence and well-being. She has Athetoid Cerebral Palsy which affects her body and speech. Our client enjoys days out, eating out, visiting friends and spending time with family. Your responsibilities will encompass every aspect of daily life to ensure their comfort and quality of life.

Due to the nature of the role, PAs need to live locally and be flexible, as a variety of shift patterns are available.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • A full and clean UK driving license (Essential)
  • Confident driver as you will be expected to drive the client's vehicle
  • Excellent sense of humour and ability to not take life too seriously
  • Friendly
  • Willing to be flexible and work on own initiative as well as following directions
  • Physical fitness, patience, and a caring nature
  • Strong communication and listening skills
  • Mature and responsible attitude
  • Fluent in English
  • Clean and tidy appearance
