Ask Jules are looking for caring and trustworthy Personal Care Assistants for our client based in Alton in Hampshire. Our client is a 24 year old female adult seeking a team of fun, caring and outgoing PAs to help them in everyday life. This is a great opportunity to help make a positive impact on a young adult's life.

Start: Immediate start

Rota: Live-In Monday, Tuesdays and Thursdays

Location: Alton, Hampshire (GU34)

Pay: £180 per shift worked

Free accommodation whilst on shift

Holidays: 5.6 weeks holiday pro rata

A Full UK Driving licence is essential for this position to drive our client's Automatic vehicle.

Care experience is welcomed but not essential, as full training in our client's particular requirements will be provided.

About our Client: This is an excellent opportunity to work with a fun, adventurous and smart individual while providing meaningful, long-lasting work. Our client is a non-verbal communicator and has a condition called Cerebral Palsy, which means they are a full-time wheelchair user. Your responsibilities will encompass every aspect of daily life to ensure their comfort and quality of life.

As written by the client: I am a very unique, determined, kind, caring and independent young woman who is moving out of home for the first time. I have cerebral palsy, my muscle tone varies depending on my health and emotional state. I am a full-time wheelchair user, which I drive with head switches. I have a background in art, design and photography, which alongside creative visual and technical skills has given me a creative set of problem-solving abilities. My aims for my first year away from home are to settle into a good routine of socialising and finding fulfilling ways to spend my day, such as volunteering and joining clubs. I have very specific needs and so it is important for my PA to be clean, and to be able to follow my directions well, but we will work together and I will help and guide you with how I want things done. I love to socialise with all sorts of different people, as long as I like them! I like to spend time with animals, and am very adventurous, having completed things such as sponsored abseils, skydiving, skiing, sailing, high roller-coasters and many other daring activities.
