We have an amazing opportunity for you to become a live-in Care Assistant to a university graduate currently based in Newport. Our client is looking for a likeminded individual to assist her with personal care and daily living.

Start Date: September 2026 (Training over the summer)

Location: Newport

Shift Pattern: 7 days on / 7 days off

Rate of Pay Benefits:

  • Pay: £200 per day // £1400 per week worked
  • Accommodation provided when on shift
  • Bespoke training on the client's particular requirements will be provided
  • On-call support from the client coordinator

About our Client:

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a 26-year-old university graduate. She studied Business Management and Marketing at Cardiff University followed by a Masters degree in Marketing with festivals and events management at Edinburgh Napier University. Our client is a physically disabled wheelchair user with a condition that is likened to Schwartz-Jampel Syndrome. She takes pride in her appearance such as getting her nails done. She is very independent and sociable but will also spend time relaxing in the flat watching Netflix, TV, and listening to music. This young individual also enjoys eating out and socialising. You would be required to accompany her to appointments, events, venues, and when socialising with friends.

  • Our client wants to live independently and enjoys her own free time and having her own space as any 26-year-old would. So, between you, you will work out a routine together.
  • You must be able to respect our client's privacy and have an understanding of the need for confidentiality in all areas of your work.
